This course covers:
It will provide a brief overview of key Existential thinkers (Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, Heidegger, Sartre)
It will explore major themes of concern to Existential philosophers (freedom, responsibility, meaning, alone-ness, death)
It will examine different types of therapy emerging from the Existential philosophical tradition (Dasein-analysis, Logotherapy, American Existential-Humanism, the British School)
To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.

If learning takes place online, you will need a PC (with a camera and microphone), laptop, tablet, or smartphone and access to the internet.
This course is suitable for all levels, especially trainee or qualified counsellors seeking continuing professional development. Activities include presentations, Q&A, discussions, interactive pair and group work, and a brief practical session. There's no formal assessment, but we encourage active participation in your individual learning plan, group activities, and reflections, drawing from your own experiences.
