This 2-hour workshop is aimed at offering a taster and an introduction to our upcoming Level 1 and Level 2 Awards in Volunteering.

Course Content

The learner will:

· Discuss about the benefits of volunteering.

· Consider what volunteering opportunity is the right one for our needs and aspirations.

· Have a glimpse of the content of the Level 1 and Level 2 Awards at RHACC in the coming weeks.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.

In order to enrol onto this course, you will need to sit a computer based initial assessment to indicate and evidence your current level of Maths and English. You will also need to have strong study skills to be able to manage your time to study at home.
First Class Requirements

You are expected to have an A4 writing pad, a ring-binder, or folders as well as pencils, a rubber, a 30cm ruler and a highlighter pen.
