This course covers:
Line, Tone, and Composition: Exploring these elements through project work and experimentation.
Colour and Paint Handling: Developing your skills in colour mixing and application.
Abstract Painting History: Gaining insights into historical and contemporary abstract art.
Artist Studies: Relating different artists to your own work.
Critique and Discussion: Building confidence in talking about your work and the work of others.
To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.

Regular attendance is recommended.
You'll receive informal, supportive group critiques at the end of each session, giving you the chance to share your work and receive constructive feedback. Your tutor will also provide individual verbal feedback as you work on your projects and participate in discussions.
