This course will develop upon your previous skillset in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, helping you to take your knowledge further to produce professional, interactive and efficient documentation.
Advanced Microsoft Word Techniques
- Advanced formatting options: styles, themes, and templates
- Collaborative editing and track changes
- Automating tasks with macros and advanced settings
- Mastering long documents: table of contents, footnotes, and citations
Professional Presentations with Microsoft PowerPoint
- Advanced slide design techniques: custom layouts and master slides
- Multimedia integration: audio, video, and interactive elements
- Animation and transition effects for visual impact
- Presentation delivery tips: audience engagement and speaker notes
To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.
Learners must be over the age of 19 at the point of enrolment. Ideally, you will have completed both the introduction and the level 1 course with us, however we can also consider your previous experience on a case by case basis.
Pen, paper and a memory stick for saving work electronically.
100% attendance is required.
Personal Learning Plan (PLP) and practical activities and outputs.
Progression to further courses in computing, including the Office Skills Level 2 Certificate and other courses within this area.
