You'll enjoy playing a variety of music in a supportive environment. This course is ideal for anyone who wants to improve their recorder skills and explore new repertoire.
This course covers:
Exercises and techniques to improve your playing, such as breath control and articulation
Simple musical theory in order to understand and access the music more fully
Repertoire for various combinations of instruments, from renaissance classics to fun arrangements
Ensemble skills and musicianship
Historically informed playing: style, ornaments
To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.

You need to be able to read music to a good standard, including sight-reading ability.
You need to be familiar with at least one size/key of recorder and be willing to explore different sizes
