This SHORT intense course will provide you with the learning environment to SUPPORT development in your jazz playing, confidence and understanding.
Performance opportunities will be available through college activities and links with local venues.
To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.
Assessment Methods (How learners will be assessed during and at the end of the course) Although there will be no formal assessment on this course you will be able to identify individual goals and later reflect on your development. After the course you may seek to further your playing in professional and semi-professional Jazz contexts.
Please note that whilst most of the classes in your course will be classroom based, the final session of the course may be in the form of a cross-college jazz concert evening OR PERORMANCE EVENT and so may not be on the same day and time of your course.
