Italian - Beginners Stage 1
If you are a complete beginner, this course is for you! Stage 1 of the Beginners course focuses on introductions. You will learn to introduce yourself to others and give simple information about yourself. Our goal is also to boost your interest and knowledge of the culture, and you will discover Italian food, drink and traditions.
The sessions are very interactive and engaging, so come prepared to join in and have some fun!
Italian - Beginners Stage 2
As your study of the language progresses from Beginners Stage 1, you will continue to learn about sentence structure and develop your spoken and written Italian with basic verb conjugations, connectives and negative forms. This course focuses on developing your communication skills in order to converse with a native speaker and convey a range of personal information, as well as express likes and dislikes, agreement and disagreement. You will also discover the cultural heritage of the language.
Russian - Beginners Stage 2
As your study of the language progresses from Beginners Stage 1 you will continue to develop your ability to speak, read, write and listen to Russian. We will continue to explore the grammatical structures of the language, including the use of the genitive case with numbers; the animate accusative; the instrumental case; the past and future tenses.
Spanish - Post Beginners Stage 2
This course will enable you to further build up your confidence to communicate in everyday situations by improving your skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening in a variety of situations.
Spanish - Beginners Stage 2
As your study of the language progresses from Beginners Stage 1, you will learn about sentence structure and develop your spoken and written Spanish with basic connectives, negative forms and a range of adverbs and pronouns. This course focuses on developing your communication skills so that you can have a conversation with a native speaker and convey a range of personal information, as well as express likes and dislikes and make enquiries in practical situations. You will also learn more about the culture of Spanish-speaking countries.
British Sign Language - Level 1 Award
The course will enable you to communicate with Deaf People using British Sign Language and finger spelling. Learners who pass all three units will achieve the Signature Level 1 Award in British Sign Language.
