Our Sciences courses are for people who want to learn or improve their Science skills and study Entry Level Science, Level 1 Award in Science, L2 Award in Science, GCSE Chemistry, GCSE Biology or Access to HE Health and Human Sciences.
The Information, Advice and Guidance session will help you to get started on the best learning programme for you.
You will meet our teachers and discuss your learning needs. We will help you to choose the right course/s to achieve your goals
Printmaking Workshop - Advanced (Untutored)
This untutored workshop caters for the experienced printmaker who wishes to access the printmaking facilities at the college and who is able to print without tuition or guidance. There is a technician in the studio who can give advice on some techniques but is mainly there to facilitate and provide health and safety supervision.
You will have access to the various printmaking facilities at the college and the workshop fee includes printing inks.
The main printmaking techniques offered in the studio are:
Relief
Collagraph
Dry point
Mono printing
Screen printing
Due to legal Health & Safety requirements we have suspended our etching processes until we have safe alternatives in place.
Please also note that due to health and safety reasons white spirit is not allowed in the print studio.
In keeping with professional working practice, the last 15 minutes of each session will be used to clean up your work space.
