Image Editing Essentials with Photoshop
On this course, you will be introduced to the digital design field using Photoshop. This will be introduced through a series of tutorials and projects, as you learn how to retouch photos and manipulate images on Photoshop.
For many of our courses in creative computing and technology, you will be entitled to a free Adobe Creative Cloud license using your student account. This means that you will be able to download the applications to your home computer to be able to practise in between your classes. Ask your tutor for more information or email rbs@rhacc.ac.uk

We will give an overview and introduction of the software platforms and courses for Creative and Digital Media these include - Graphic design, Film and Video production and Digital Imaging. This taster will also give you hand s on experience with Adobe Creative Cloud where you will carry out some basic tasks to complete a basic creative media project.

Your course will explore the power and versatility of Adobe Photoshop CC in a series of practical exercises designed to build your knowledge and develop confidence in your creative ability to use this industry-standard image manipulation program for design purposes.
Creative Web design with Adobe Photoshop and Wordpress
This course is designed to give practical and creative skills in building a website for a business or a personal portfolio using Adobe Photoshop and Wordpress.
Jewellery - Absolute Beginners
This Jewellery course is suitable for complete beginners. It will give you the basic skills you need to design and make jewellery in a structured environment. You will be given projects, with plenty of demonstrations, help and guidance.
Jewellery Workshop - Intermediate
This intermediate level course will enable you to further develop your jewellery design and making skills in a workshop environment.
Woodwork Design and Make Wooden Furniture
This course will equip you with the skills and knowledge to design and make original items of furniture. You will be given demonstrations on woodworking techniques and guidance on your own unique project.
Digital Technologies and Computer Science - Access to HE
This course will be delivered online.
This course will develop your skills and knowledge in Digital Technologies and Computer Science - an industry with growing opportunities for employment. This includes roles in computer science, games design, cybersecurity, AI, Data Science, programming and web development.
This is an advanced level course designed to prepare you for university, and the completion of this Level 3 diploma will give you the qualification required to do so. The course can also be used to support your entry into employment or into an apprenticeship or degree apprenticeship within your chosen sector.
Many students progress onto their chosen field of study at university, with others progressing into employment or into an apprenticeship related to their course of study. In 22/23, access learners received offers from a range of universities, including from Sheffield, Bournemouth, St Mary's, Queen Mary's, University of the Creative Arts, UAL, Brunel, Goldsmiths, Greenwich, Ravensbourne, Kingston, Westminster and Portsmouth. For Digital Technologies learners, this has included offers in Cybersecurity, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science and Games Design and Development.
Computing - Access to HE
