Are you interested in exotic jewellery making techniques? Mokume Gane is one of the unique traditional Japanese metalwork techniques. You can learn and understand how to make Mokume Gane jewellery at the RHACC Jewellery Class.
Course Content
This Course Covers: How to make Mokume Gane technique. * Mokume Gane (translated as "wood grain metal") is a traditional Japanese metalworking technique that creates unique, organic patterns by layering and fusing contrasting precious metals. In the UK, it is highly sought after for bespoke wedding and engagement rings due to its one-of-a-kind nature. This is a 1-day short course.
Entry Requirements
To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.

Attendance Requirements
You must arrive on time.
Learner’s level of jewellery making must be at intermediate. Basic techniques including Sawing, Annealing, Soldering and Polishing must be learnt in their previous learning.
Assessment Methods
Your progress will be assessed through observation and practical work during the session. We encourage you to explore our other jewellery courses to further develop your skills.
