1 Day T-Shirt Printing Course

This workshop introduces adult learners to basic t-shirt printing techniques, including placement printing (centering designs) and an understanding of the aesthetics of repeat printing (patterns).

Learners will explore design preparation, screen printing using stencils, and fabric ink usage. They will create unique t-shirt designs, learning colour layering and registration for multi-colour prints.

Course Content

- Develop practical t-shirt printing skills.
- Inspire creativity through design and printing techniques.

- Master basic and repeat printing techniques.
- Understand t-shirt design concepts.
- Complete personal t-shirt printing projects.

Ideal for hobbyists or those exploring small-scale apparel production.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.

You should have a working knowledge and experience of at least one form of printmaking, although refresher sessions are available for a range of techniques.

First Class Requirements

All equipment will be provided.

If you want to bring your own T-shirt please do, and any ideas or images you would like to use for inspiration.

On the first day of the course, the tutor will inform you of any materials that may be required for this course.

Attendance Requirements

To successfully complete this course, you must commit to aim for 100% attendance and punctuality.

Assessment Methods

The assessment process is carried out using Personal Learning Plans (PLPs) and regular discussions with the tutor.

This includes tracking your own practice through written notes and tutors written responses, gauging your progression and personal development through the course.
