1 Day Tote Bag Printing Course

This workshop introduces adult learners to tote bag printing, covering both placement printing (design positioning) and repeat printing (creating patterns).
You will learn the essentials of screen printing, ink application, and fabric preparation. Through hands-on projects, learners will design and print their own tote bags, experimenting with single-colour and multi-colour prints.
Course Content
Course Aims:
- Equip learners with practical printing skills.
- Encourage creativity through custom design work.
Learning Outcomes:
- Master placement and gain an understanding of repeat printing techniques.
- Understand tote bag design principles.
- Complete custom tote bag.
Perfect for hobbyists or aspiring craft entrepreneurs.
Entry Requirements
To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.
You should have a working knowledge and experience of at least one form of printmaking, although refresher sessions are available for a range of techniques.
First Class Requirements
All equipment will be provided.
If you want to bring your own Tote-bag please do, and any ideas or images you would like to use for inspiration.
On the first day of the course, the tutor will inform you of any materials that may be required for this course.
Attendance Requirements
To successfully complete this course, you must commit to aim for 100% attendance and punctuality.
Assessment Methods
The assessment process is carried out using Personal Learning Plans (PLPs) and regular discussions with the tutor.
This includes tracking your own practice through written notes and tutors written responses, gauging your progression and personal development through the course.
