Course Content
This course covers:
Correct posture and tuning your instrument
Basic strumming and picking techniques
Reading guitar tablature and basic rhythmic notation
The four chord songbook, common chord progression and building a repertoire of simple pieces
Entry Requirements
To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.
Please bring an acoustic guitar or contact us if you need assistance sourcing an instrument.
Assessment Methods
There is no formal assessment on this course. However, you will receive specific feedback linked to your own goals. You will learn as a group, but each learner will develop at their own pace. You will explore a range of music from simple pieces to some more challenging ones arranged as appropriate to your level.
