Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.

This course is for people with little or no previous teaching experience.
Native English speakers need a minimum of GCSE English grade C/4 or above.
Non-native speakers need Grade A Cambridge First Certificate (CPE) or IELTS grade 7.
You'll need to complete an application form and pre-interview task.
A successful interview is required to enrol.

Assessment Methods

You'll be assessed through marked assignments, portfolio completion, and observations of your teaching practice. Upon successful completion, you can explore various teaching opportunities or further your studies in related fields.

Additional Information

A solid understanding of English grammar and pronunciation is essential. If you need to brush up, we can advise you on self-study resources or preparatory courses. This course is intensive and requires dedication. We recommend having at least 10 hours per week for study and lesson preparation outside of class.
