Course Content

Install Python on your computer
Learn about Python s numeric and string data types
Use variables to store data
Use built-in functions and methods
Organize your code into functions
Use conditionals to make decisions
Write simple python programs

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.

Entry Requirements
Good computer literacy.
An understanding of a previous programming language is helpful.

Attendance Requirements
Regular attendance is essential.

Assessment Methods
Homework and monitoring progress in class.
