Want to take your photography to the next level? If you are an eligible Carer, this course is for you! This intermediate course will give you a deeper understanding of exposure, helping you become comfortable using your camera in manual mode. You'll also explore composition techniques to make better creative choices when taking photographs.
Course Content
This course covers:
Exposure: Understand the main components of exposure on both a technical and creative level
Composition: Develop a deeper understanding of composition
Lenses: Develop an understanding of different lenses and their uses
Camera Settings: Understand focus modes, metering modes, white balance, aperture & shutter priority, and the histogram
Photo Analysis: Learn the basics of how to analyse photographs
Photographer Studies: Explore the work and methods of various leading photographers

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.

Assessment Methods
Your progress will be assessed through Q&A, observations, Personal Learning Plans (PLPs), and practical sessions using specialist classroom facilities. You'll build a body of coursework and explore different outcomes that incorporate new techniques and processes.
