This course is designed to develop the skills obtained in the introductory course, helping you to develop your practical knowledge in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel.
Microsoft Word: Enhancing Document Creation
- Formatting text and paragraphs for visual appeal
- Utilising tables and graphics effectively
- Customising page layouts and headers/footers
- Working with templates and styles for consistency
Microsoft PowerPoint: Captivating Presentations
- Designing visually appealing slides with themes and layouts
- Incorporating multimedia elements and animations
- Creating effective slide transitions
- Applying speaker notes and rehearsal techniques
Microsoft Excel: Data Organisation and Analysis
- Formatting options for tables and cells
- Sorting, filtering, and working with multiple worksheets
- Using formulas and functions for calculations
- Creating charts and graphs to visualize data
Some prior experience is needed - ideally you will have completed one of our beginner s courses in this field. You should be able to set up your documents, save files and input both text and imagery. Learners must be over the age of 19 at the point of enrolment.
