This course covers:
Speaking Skills: Practice pronunciation and participate in class discussions.
Numeracy Skills: Develop basic numeracy through class-based mathematical tasks.
Writing Skills: Improve spelling and sentence structure through writing tasks.
Reading Skills: Gain confidence by reading class materials aloud.
Safeguarding: Develop your understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection.
Equality and Inclusion: Develop your understanding of equality and inclusion.

You must be 18 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.
You need to be at least ESOL Level 1.
You need to take an English language assessment to check you are at the right level.
This course is assessed through a folder of work and an Individual Learning Plan (ILP). Your tutor will mark the work you produce as you progress through the course. On completion, you can progress to other courses in childcare or health and social care.
We have courses at all levels of the Adult ESOL Curriculum, from Pre-Entry to Level 2. We will help you find the correct level for you before you start your course.
