Ever wondered what it takes to create your own film or video? This taster session will introduce you to the exciting world of film and video production. You'll discover the different roles within this industry and gain a feel for the creative process. This course is perfect for anyone curious about filmmaking, whether you're a complete beginner or have some experience.
Course Content
This course covers:
Introduction to the film and video industry
Presentation of relevant progression opportunities at RHACC
Understanding the fundamentals of production planning
Some practical skills and techniques, including the usage of a camera and editing software
Entry Requirements
To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.
This is a one off taster course -no prior experience necessary. Everyone is welcome
Please make sure you book in advance.
First Class Requirements
Pen, notepad, USB.
Attendance Requirements
If you have enrolled, please ensure you attend the session. Places are limited.
Assessment Methods
You will create a personal learning plan and participate in practical activities. This taster session can help you decide if you want to explore further film and video production courses at RHACC.
