Course Content
This course covers:
Embroidery basics: Setting up your embroidery hoop and preparing fabric
Essential stitches: Learning and practising basic embroidery stitches (for example, backstitch, satin stitch, French knot)
Stitching techniques: Tips for neat and even stitching
Simple design: Following a simple stitch pattern
Finishing touches: Learning finishing techniques for your embroidery piece

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.
No prior experience is needed—just bring your creativity!

Assessment Methods
Your progress will be assessed through a practical demonstration, with 1-2-1 guidance available throughout the session. After this course, you could explore more advanced embroidery techniques or other textile art forms.
