Want to take your French conversation skills to the next level? This course is designed for you! You'll explore a wide range of interesting topics, from current affairs to culture and gastronomy, expanding your vocabulary and use of French idioms. Perfect for those who want to confidently discuss and debate in French, this course will help you research topics, give presentations, and engage in lively discussions. Course Content

This course covers:
Expressing opinions: Express your opinion in French, using a wider range of structures and vocabulary
Grammar revision: Identify tenses and grammar structures and use them accurately (revision of passé composé / imparfait in part 1 and conditionnel & subjonctif in part 2)
Idiomatic expressions: Use French expressions and idioms in context
Text analysis: Critically analyse and comment on written texts taken from current newspapers, magazines or websites, level B1-B2
Video comprehension: Better understand a video at level B1-B2 on a current topic in French.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.

Completion of Post Intermediate Stage 2 or equivalent (5 years of study)

Regular attendance is advisable to develop language skills and ensure maximum progress.

Assessment Methods

Your tutor will discuss your goals with you and assess your progress through in-class observation and activities. You'll also track your progress in your Personal Learning Plan (PLP). After this course, you can continue to enrol on this Advanced level course or choose another French course at this level.
