Course Content

This course covers:
A wide range of topic areas will be covered at this level, including items of current interest, which will extend learners vocabulary and use of some high frequency idiom. For example, discussing and debating current affairs, the target language culture, history, arts, sport and leisure, traditions, food, literature, cinema etc.
Read and discuss articles about current issues
Describe past events using a range of past tenses
Interpret an excerpt from classic italian novels
Formulate hypothesis using advanced verb forms such as the subjunctive
Give a presentation about a topic of your choice.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.

Completion of Lower Advanced or equivalent (6 years of previous study)

Attendance Requirements

Regular attendance is advisable to develop language skills and ensure maximum progress.

Assessment Methods

You'll discuss your learning goals with your tutor, who will assess your progress through in-class observation and activities. You will track your progress in your Personal Learning Plan (PLP). After completing this course, you can enrol on any Advanced level course.
