Jewellery - Studio for Makers

This workshop is focussed on independent learning and is designed for learners at intermediate level, to continue to develop their technical and creative skills in jewellery independently. The session is untutored however, guidance and support will be provided by a qualified technician.

Course Content

This workshop fosters independent learning for intermediate-level jewellery makers.  Participants will advance their technical and creative skills independently, with access to tools and resources.  While the session is untutored, a qualified technician will be on hand to offer guidance and support.  The emphasis is on self-directed projects, encouraging learners to explore and refine their craftsmanship.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.

This course is ONLY for previous and current learners that have already completed a jewellery course at RHACC.

First Class Requirements

Apron ,old clothes and shoes.
Sketchbook and pencil.
Any modelling tools you may have.

Assessment Methods

There is no formal assessment for this course, but your progress will be monitored via question and answer in groups and individually and by observation. You will be given regular verbal feedback as to how you could improve and your progress in general.

Please note that there may be blow torches, hot kilns and hazardous liquids used during this course, however your tutor will explain how to use them safely during health and safety talks.
