Managing Your Personal Finances

The aim of the course is to provide you with an overview of the different aspect of money management, to ensure long term financial stability.

Course Content

We will review areas of personal finance including:
- Savings: the characteristics of ISAs, bonds, saving accounts and other financial products;
- Borrowings: loans, mortgages and other ways to borrow money;
- Investments: ways to invest that minimize risk and maximise reward over time.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.

There are no formal entry requirements but it is advisable to have a good standard of English and maths.

Assessment Methods

This session that will start and end with a self-assessment of knowledge and skills. Feedback from peers and facilitator will help everyone to achieve the aims of the session.
