This course is aimed at beginners with no prior experience of mosaic.
Intermediate students who wish to join for company, advice, and access to materials are also welcome.
No drawing skills are needed; design ideas will be available.
First Class Requirements
Think about a design idea for a mosaic that will be either 22cm square or a circle with a 22cm diameter and bring images with you This can be a pattern, simple shapes or forms, numbers. We also have design templates available on the day, so there will be plenty of inspiration! Mosaic is a slow art-form, so to ensure the mosaic can be completed within the time available, the design must be simple.
Please also bring something to take your mosaic home in, bearing in mind it will still be a little fragile when you need to transport it, as the glue or grout will not have fully dried.
