Course Content

This course covers:
Understand the role and application of Graphic Design
Know the tools and equipment used in graphic design projects
Be able to research ideas for graphic design
Work in a sketchbook to generate ideas and record your research
Be able to plan and prepare for a graphic design project
Understand the functions of typography
Be able to create design work using typography
Be able to complete graphic design project(s) to a brief
Be able to review your own graphic design work

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.

You should have a working knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign or Illustrator, to the extent that you can progress with your projects independently and without needing to be shown how to use the programs at a basic level.
