Want to take amazing photos with just your smartphone? This course is for you! Learn the essentials of smartphone photography, from composition to lighting and editing. Course Content
This course covers:
Composition: Learn about framing, rule of thirds, leading lines, and balance. Understand how to arrange elements within your frame for visually appealing photos
Lighting: Explore natural light, golden hour, and indoor lighting. Discover techniques to make the most of available light
Exposure Settings: Understand exposure triangle components: ISO, aperture, and shutter speed. Adjust these settings to control brightness and sharpness
Focus Modes: Learn about autofocus, manual focus, and tapping to focus
White Balance: Understand how it affects colour temperature in your photos
Depth of Field: Explore shallow depth of field for artistic effects
Portrait Mode: Create professional-looking portraits with blurred backgrounds
Entry Requirements
To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.
You will need to bring your own smartphone to this course.

You will create a personal learning plan and participate in practical activities. This course can be a stepping stone to further photography courses or creative pursuits.
