Led by a native Spanish speaker, you'll build confidence in spoken Spanish and expand your vocabulary, pronunciation, and communication skills. Practice speaking and understanding Spanish in a relaxed, friendly environment. This course is perfect for anyone looking to improve their conversational Spanish and learn more about Spanish culture. Course Content
This course covers:
Expressing opinions and preferences relating to art, food, family, places and hobbies
Expanding your vocabulary relating to the topics discussed in class this term
Developing your listening skills and understanding of authentic materials
Giving a short presentation in Spanish about a topic of your choice
Entry Requirements
To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.
You should have studied Spanish for 2-3 years.
Or, you may have studied at a more advanced level but want to refresh your conversational skills.
This is a mixed-level course for learners at or around Intermediate level (B1+).
You should be able to use a range of tenses (past, present and future) and express opinions.
First Class Requirements
Please bring a pen and paper or your electronic device if preferred.
Attendance Requirements
Regular attendance is advisable to ensure maximum progress.
Assessment Methods
Your tutor will discuss your goals with you and assess your progress through in-class observation and activities. You'll track your progress in your Personal Learning Plan (PLP). After completing this course, you can continue with this Intermediate conversation course or choose another Spanish course at this level.
