Entry Requirements
To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.

You must be working in a school or college in a teaching and learning environment and have extensive experience of the requirements and workings of a school or college.
Ideally, you will have an existing qualification at Level 3. However, we will consider your existing formal qualifications alongside your level of working experience to assess whether you are suitable for this course.
First Class Requirements
Bring suitable note-making equipment. You might wish to bring a pad or lap top device.
Attendance Requirements
Attendance at on line sessions, classroom based sessions and workshops is compulsory. Your assessor will keep track of your placement hours in school.
Assessment Methods
You will upload written assessments to a digital portfolio for tutor assessment and feedback. You will be observed in your workplace and engage in professional discussion and feedback on observed sessions. This qualification can open doors to further leadership and management opportunities within education.
Further Study Options
You will be able to enrol on Paediatric First Aid, Makaton, Food Safety, Safeguarding and Infection Control. Following successful completion of your level 2, you will be assessed to see if you have the knowledge, skills and professional competencies to progress to level 3.
