Entry Requirements
To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.
You must have English at Level 2, either GCSE grade C/4 or above or Functional Skills.
You will ideally have a Level 2 Supporting Teaching & Learning qualification or sufficient experience in the classroom.
You must be employed by your school or college in order to undertake this qualification.
First Class Requirements
Bring suitable note-making equipment. You might wish to bring a pad or lap top device.
Assessment Methods
Your written work will be assessed online on a digital platform. Throughout the course, your tutor/assessor will observe you in the classroom, assessing your knowledge and skills in practice. We will also assess your personal and professional competencies throughout the course.
Further Study Options
You will be able to enrol on Paediatric First Aid, Food Safety, Makaton and Infection Control.
Additional Information
To get the most out of this qualification, we expect you to attend all sessions and arrive on time. You will need a suitable IT device to upload assignments for assessment to the digital platform for the course.
