This course covers three essential areas: WordPress Web Development, Web Analytics, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Gain practical skills in creating and customising professional websites using WordPress, analysing user behaviour with tools like Google Analytics, and optimising website visibility on search engines.

This course includes the following:
WordPress basics - understand the platform's architecture, installation, and customisation.
Themes and plugins - explore pre-designed themes, create custom templates, and enhance functionality.
Responsive design - optimise websites for various devices.
Google analytics - tracking user behaviour, setting up goals, and interpreting data.
Conversion Rate Optimisation - learn to improve website performance based on analytics insights.
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) - identify relevant keywords for better search visibility.
On-Page optimisation - optimise content, meta tags, and URLs.

Entry Requirements
To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.
You will need to have a good level of IT literacy to fully take advantage of this course. This includes navigation, file management, and some understanding of website design. This course is well suited to working professionals and marketers who wish to develop their website knowledge further.
First Class Requirements
You may wish to bring a USB, notepad and pen.
Attendance Requirements
Please ensure you attend every session to fully make sense of the material presented.
Assessment Methods
You will be assessed via your personal learning plan (PLP) and a range of practical activities.
