
Xero Software - Introduction

This course is a Level 1 course that is intended to introduce you to how to use Xero in a professional environment. It will help develop your skills for entering into a job using Xero for accounting and financial purposes or to help you administer your accounts for a small business.
Course Content
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
Register and set up an account on the Xero platform
Set up customers and suppliers
Add, import and create invoices
Add a ?bank? and ?petty cash? account
Use Xero to manage financial transactions, receipts and accounts reconciliation
Create basic reports
Correct errors and troubleshoot problems.
Entry Requirements
To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.
Keyboard and mouse skills are essential. Basic knowledge of cut, paste, print and save is desirable
Good knowledge with internet based applications.
First Class Requirements
Paper, pen, folder to keep handouts and work produced.
Assessment Methods
You are assessed through a portfolio of assessment evidence generated during the course
