· Explore aspects of language which some Ukrainian speakers may find difficult, including getting to grips with Roman alphabet, common pronunciation and grammar issues

· Give an overview of some cultural aspects of Ukrainian life, and how we can help newly-arrived Ukrainians find their feet in British society

· Find out what the next steps would be to become a qualified teacher of English to Speakers of Other Languages

If you have questions about how RHACC can support Richmond’s Ukrainian community, please contact Ian Paine ESOL Programme Manager HERE.

Partner Organisations

We are looking for partner organisations and volunteers to help us run informal coffee mornings at our Parkshot site where we can put Ukrainians in touch with local services and support and introduce them to life in Richmond. If your organisation is interested in getting involved, please contact Gaynor Bray, gaynor.bray@rhacc.ac.uk.

If your organisation would like to use our Parkshot site to host your own event over the summer, please get in touch. We are happy to provide facilities free of charge for organisations giving support for new Ukrainian residents.

Please subscribe to our mailing list if you would like us to send you information about new courses and events.

Please email esol@rhacc.ac.uk for more information.
