Hillcroft Centenary Creative Writing Competition

We had some fantastic entries for our Hillcroft Centenary Creative Writing Competition. Our winners and runners up were presented their certificates at our award ceremony last week by our chair of governors, Andrew George. 

Each entry focused on one of three categories: Children's Literature, Writing for Wellbeing and Scriptwriting for Life. 


Children's Literature: 

Winner: Sarah Terkaoui for 'how the Deserts were Made'
Runner Up: Deborah Reeves for 'A Penny for Biscuits'

Writing for Wellbeing
Winner: Zoe Neirizi for 'Pandora's Box'
Runner Up: Angela Muriel Gray for 'A Dim Light'

Scriptwriting from Life 
Winner: Janet Teal Daniel for 'Monologue: Writing for Life'
Runner Up: Roger Gascoigne and Geary Lewis for 'Changing Roger'
