Arts Online Extra – Identity in Photography
RHACC is hosting a one-off Arts Online Extra Photography masterclass on Wednesday 14th July from 7-8:30 pm. This virtual session is suitable for all levels and explores the process of capturing identity through a lens. Our expert tutor will teach you a range of portraiture techniques and you will discover established photographers, activists, and artists who explore the theme of identity.
This online event is also a great opportunity for you to meet like-minded creatives and budding photographers. You will work together as a group to discuss different photographs and interpret identity visually.
To participate in the course, all you need is a device that captures photographs! This can be a mobile phone, a DSLR, or a compact camera. By the end of the session, you will have a good contextual awareness of photographers who explore identity within their practice and how to apply similar techniques to your own work.
Tickets are only £10 and a maximum of 15 are available.
