SharePoint is a web-based collaborative platform that integrates natively with Microsoft 365. SharePoint is a document management and storage system, used for sharing information through an intranet, implementing internal applications, and for implementing business processes.
This skills development course will help you to use SharePoint to collaborate with others in the work place in the most effective and efficient way. The course will also enable you to set permissions using user profiles.
This course is for anyone who already has basic skills with other microsoft packages and ideally some familiarity with the MS365 version. It is ideal for anyone wishing to understand how sharepoint can be used for collaborative working in a organisational context.
Course Content
Course content:
- Understand what SharePoint is and how it can be used within a working environment
- Create a website structure using templates and customising the layout
- Inserting apps
- Creating a navigation menu
- Insert and edit content
- Create list and libraries
- Creating pages
- Basic permission
Entry Requirements
To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.
