Curious about artificial intelligence? This taster session focuses on generative AI. You'll develop your understanding and practical skills using browser-based products. This course is perfect for anyone wanting to explore AI and gain confidence using digital tools. It will help you understand the basics and start making the most of using AI in your daily life and work.
Course Content
This course covers both theoretical and practical content, including:
What is Artificial Intelligence (AI)?
The benefits and risks of AI
How to use text-based platforms, including ChatGPT and Bard
How to use text-to-image applications, including Adobe Firefly and Dall-E
Using generative fill on Firefly
A range of additional tools and add-ons, including Canva
Entry Requirements
To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.
Good computer skills
Good English comprehension
First Class Requirements
You may wish to bring a pen and a notepad.

Assessment Methods
You will complete a personal learning plan in this session. There will also be opportunities for group discussion and Q&A. This taster session can lead to further study in digital skills and AI.
