Emergency First Aid at Work

Are you looking to become a qualified first aider in the workplace? This course is designed for individuals who will be responsible for administering first aid, making it ideal for businesses needing trained personnel. You'll gain essential skills and knowledge to confidently handle emergency situations. On successful completion, your First Aid certificate will be valid for 3 years, meeting the requirements of the Health and Safety Executive's First Aid Regulations.

Course Content

This course covers:
Understand the role and responsibilities of a first aider
Be able to assess an incident
Be able to provide first aid to an unresponsive casualty
Be able to provide first aid to a casualty who is choking
Be able to provide first aid to a casualty with external bleeding
Know how to provide first aid to a casualty who is in shock
Know how to provide first aid to a casualty with minor injuries

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.

We recommend you have Level 1 English skills to complete the online test.

Assessment Methods

Your progress will be assessed through online questions and a final test. The classroom session includes practical demonstrations of first aid skills. Upon completion, you can explore further health and safety courses to enhance your knowledge and career prospects.
