Course Content
This course covers:
Fundamentals of the monoprint process
Ways of using monoprints to create one-off prints on paper
Creating multilayered monoprints using a variety of different colour inks
Opportunities to work in a group to reflect and exchange experimental ideas
Creating a selection of monoprints
How to organise and set up your workspace for creating monoprints
How to create layered monoprints
How to discuss and critique your work with other learners
How to use a print studio safely
Entry Requirements
To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.

First Class Requirements
Sketchbook /notebook of ideas or images for inspiration (these ideas will be discussed with the tutor and as a group)
Ink is provided as part of the course fee
Paper will need to be purchased in the lesson.
Assessment Methods
There is no formal assessment for this course. However you will set personal targets with the tutor and review these during, and at the end of the course.
This includes tracking your own practice through written notes and the tutor's written responses, gaging your progression and personal development through the course using Personal Learning Plans.
