Course Content

This course covers:
Understand the role of the mental health worker

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.

Level 1 English skills (e.g., Functional Skills English). If you don't have proof of an English qualification, you'll need to take a short assessment.
Completion of a short course application and attendance at a brief online interview to ensure the course is right for you.
Access to a PC, laptop, or tablet and a reliable internet connection.

First Class Requirements

There are no face to face learning sesions for this particular course.

Attendance Requirements

Assessment Methods

You'll submit your written coursework through our online learning platform, building a portfolio of your work. Further Study Options

On successful completion of this course you may wish to study the Level 3 Certificate in Understanding Mental Health (also available online). Alternatively, you may wish to consider learning some counselling skills or training to be a counsellor or care worker.
