Want to take your Greek language skills to the next level? This course is designed to reinforce what you've already learned and build your confidence in speaking, reading, listening, and writing. You'll focus on grammar, participate in discussions, express your opinions, and talk about events in different time frames. This course is perfect for those looking to improve their communication skills and deepen their understanding of Greek culture, traditions, and history.

Professional life
House & Home
Free time and entertainment
Past and future events
Giving an opinion
Expressing emotions
Agreeing/disagreeing
Comparatives
Connectors (e.g. therefore), prepositions
Adjectives / adverbs to create descriptions
Modal verbs (e.g. can, may, must, would like)
Basic knowledge of simple structures to express past, present and future tenses/timeframes where appropriate.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.

Completion of Post Beginners Stage 2.
Alternatively, if you have not previously taken a course in this language at RHACC, please complete the self-assessment Level and Placement test found on our website.

First Class Requirements

Please bring a pen and paper or your electronic device if preferred.

Attendance Requirements

Regular attendance is advisable to ensure maximum progress.

Assessment Methods

Your tutor will discuss your goals with you and assess your progress through in-class observation and activities. We'll use a variety of resources to match different learning styles, making your learning enjoyable and rewarding. Homework will be given after each session. This is not an exam course. After completing this course, you can enrol on Lower Intermediate Stage 2.

Additional Information

In the first class, your tutor will let you know which textbook to purchase. Some literacy, numeracy and IT skills can help you learn a language, and we can provide guidance and support to acquire these. Please bring a pen and paper or your electronic device if preferred.
