Alison Granger is a qualified solicitor with 12 years’ experience of commercial litigation and employment law in City and West End Law Firms. Whilst working for law firms Alison was responsible for training courses for colleagues and mentoring more junior colleagues. After starting a family and in September 2004, she commenced her tutoring and training career at RHACC gaining her Certificate in Education in 2006.

Anthony spent the first part of his career working in law and then IT in the banking sector. His clients included the Central Bank of Turkey, Commerzbank, Deutsche Bank and ABN Amro. In his business training courses, Anthony aims to create interesting and enjoyable courses by breaking down complex topics and using practical real world examples drawn from his own professional career.

Chartered accountant (FCCA, FMAAT), BA English Philology, PgDip in Corporate Governance, TEFL Diploma – over 25 years’ teaching experience in secondary and tertiary education. Worked in a range of industry sectors and business organisations, including public and private limited companies, partnerships, and social enterprises.

I am currently a core tutor for CPCAB teaching on the Counselling Level 2 and 3 Certificates as well as Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. I also run a private Psychotherapy and clinical Supervision practice which enables me to bring real life aspects of counselling work into the classroom. My style of teaching is creative, experiential and dynamic; no two sessions are ever the same in my courses!

Graham is Head of Care, Counselling and Education. Having studied health and psychology to post-graduate level and undergone teacher training, Graham has many years’ experience at RHACC and has managed a wide range of teaching and learning programmes for the local adult community. Graham is based at our Hillcroft site and supports the management of the centre there. Prior to the college merger in 2017, Graham worked for Hillcroft College and following merger, held the role of Head of Women’s Education before moving across to the Richmond Business School to fulfil his current role.

Judy’s career as an IT lecturer started as a student, mid 30s, looking to retrain and finding myself in front of a computer that I was too scared to turn on in case I broke it! Following successful completion of the course and undertaking another I was asked to teach, and a new and very rewarding career began.

Julian worked as a technical manager for two large organisations before taking a career break to study for an MA and to qualify as a teacher. He now divides his business hours between working as a freelance marketing consultant and business coach for small to medium-sized businesses, and teaching for RHACC, two other colleges, and for a number of charities that help people gain the skills to start their own business. His key interests include web design and marketing, content strategy, search engine marketing, and the use of social media.

I have been in the counselling profession for almost 25 years. I am as passionate now, as when I first qualified as an Integrative Psychotherapist.


Manoj Nanda is the Head of Business and IT, based in the Richmond Business School. Before entering the world of further education Manoj graduated with a BSc in Computer Science, then worked in the Web Industry as a Project Manager then numerous local start-up companies and the voluntary sector, providing consultancy support with technology and marketing. This led to his interest in teaching/training and specialisation with e-learning and learning technologies. His own technical expertise is in areas such as Web Design, Networks, E-commerce, Creative Media and Digital Marketing.
