Finance and Funding

Learning shouldn’t be limited by finances. Whether you want to pay in instalments, apply for funding, or understand our refund policy, you’ll find everything you need here to make learning affordable and accessible.

Payment Options

You can pay for your course:

  • Online
  • In person at reception
  • By instalments (for eligible courses)

Instalments

  • Courses over £200 → 2 instalments
  • Courses over £300 → 5 instalments
  • Courses running over two academic years → 10 instalments
    A £20 administration fee applies to all instalment plans. Plans must be arranged in person.

If you haven’t lived in the EU for the past 3 years, international fees may apply — please ask for more information.

Payment Options Details

Paying Online
Available for wellbeing courses. Discounts can be applied at checkout.

Paying in Person
Pay for your course at reception during normal opening hours.

Instalments
Your first instalment and the £20 admin fee are due at enrolment.
Remaining instalments will be automatically debited from your bank account.

We offer a range of discounts, concessions and bursaries to help make learning accessible.

You may be eligible for support depending on:

  • Age
  • Employment status
  • Income
  • Residency status
  • Course type
  • Receipt of means-tested benefits

If applying for funding, please bring supporting evidence dated within the last three months.

Funding Eligibility Details

Funded Courses (Free if you):

  • Are unemployed or earn less than £617 per month (individual claim)
  • Are unemployed or earn less than £988 per month (household claim)
  • Receive one of the following: Jobseeker’s Allowance, Council Tax Reduction, Employment Support Allowance, or Universal Credit

Community Courses:
30% discount available if your household income is under £25,000.

Advanced Learner Loans:
Available if you are aged 19+ and studying a Level 3 course or higher.
