How to Enrol

How to Enrol

There are several ways to enrol at RHACC.

We recommend enrolling online if you can — it’s the quickest and easiest option.

Enrol Online

Visit rhacc.ac.uk to browse our full range of courses.

  1. Find your chosen course.
  2. Select the day or time that suits you.
  3. Click Apply/Enrol and complete the online form.

Any discounts or concessions you are eligible for will be applied at the online checkout.

Enrol In Person

You can also enrol at either of our campuses, where our friendly staff will be happy to support you with course advice and the enrolment process.

Check our opening hours for details of when you can visit.

Discounts, Concessions and Bursaries

We offer a wide range of discounts and financial support for learners on low incomes.

Before enrolling, please make sure you have the right documents and evidence.

Documents You’ll Need

If You’re Studying a Qualification Course

For qualification courses, you’ll first need to apply for an interview online.
Once your interview is complete and you’ve been accepted, you can enrol in person at the college.

Please bring:

  • Certificates for any qualifications you already hold
  • Proof of identification

If you are a British Citizen, bring one of the following:

  • Passport
  • Driving Licence (if born in the UK)
  • Birth Certificate plus official photo ID (e.g. Oyster Card or Freedom Pass)

If you are not a British Citizen, bring one of the following:

  • Passport
  • National ID Card
  • UK Travel Document
  • UK Immigration Status Document (Visa, Resident Permit, Entry Clearance)
  • Letter from UKBA/Home Office/Asylum Support Service with photo ID
  • Any other photographic proof of your residency status

If you’re applying for a concession, you’ll also need:

  • National Insurance number
  • Benefit award letter (dated within the last 3 months)

If You’re Applying for Concessions

You may be eligible for a concession if you are:

  • Unemployed, or
  • Employed but earning less than £617 per month (individual) or £988 per month (household) and receiving state benefits.

Please provide one of the following benefit award letters (dated within the last 3 months):

  • Job Seeker’s Allowance
  • Council Tax Reduction (excluding single occupancy discount)
  • Employment Support Allowance
  • Universal Credit

If your letter is out of date, we can accept it with a current bank statement showing the benefit reference number.

If You’re Earning Below the Income Threshold

You may qualify for support if you earn less than:

  • £28,860 per year (Greater London area)
  • £25,750 per year (outside Greater London)

Please bring one of the following:

  • Payslips for the last 3 consecutive months
  • Contract of employment

If your household income is below £25,000 per year, please bring:

  • Current Council Tax bill or tenancy agreement
  • Bank statements for the past 3 consecutive months (for each adult)
  • Payslips for the past 3 consecutive months (for each adult)

If Your Employer Is Paying for Your Course

Please provide a headed letter or email from your employer (or ask them to email enrol@rhacc.ac.uk) confirming payment.

The letter/email must include:

  • Names of employees being sponsored
  • Course title and code
  • Cost of the course / amount being paid
  • Company details (address, phone, and email)
  • Name, role and title of the person authorising payment
