      This course will be delivered online.

      The purpose of the NCFE Level 3 in Coding Practices is to provide learners with awareness of formal coding practices in the IT industry. It will provide the learner with a chance to develop knowledge and skills relating to coding practices with the view to seeking employment or proceeding to further study in this area.

      Who is it suitable for?

      This course is particularly suitable for those looking to consolidate their knowledge of coding and learn practical skills which can be used to seek work or proceed into study at Level 4.

      This course is a distance learning course. There are also monthly tutorials you can attend to interact with the tutor and your peer learners. Distance learning courses require you to have sufficient capacity to study independently and this is advised at 6-8 hours per week over the duration of the course (24 weeks)

      This course is free for any adult aged over 19 and over who wants to achieve their first full level 3 qualification.(equivalent to an advanced technical certificate or diploma, or A levels) via the National Skills Fund

      This offer is part of the governments Plan for Jobs. It represents a long-term commitment to remove the age constraints and financial barriers for adults looking for their first level 3 qualification so that they can access training to enable them to progress.
