This workshop introduces adult learners to tote bag printing, covering both placement printing (design positioning) and repeat printing (creating patterns).

You will learn the essentials of screen printing, ink application, and fabric preparation. Through hands-on projects, learners will design and print their own tote bags, experimenting with single-colour and multi-colour prints.

The course is project based using a termly theme that taps into different aspects of the abstract
painting language/ideas. Previous courses have covered themes such as Picture Space, Colour,
and Chance.
The sessions will therefore be structured so that students can build their own project on that
theme. Students will be encouraged to develop their own approach and experiment with painting.
