RHACC Black History Month Open Mic

On Tuesday 21 October, Richmond and Hillcroft Adult Community College hosted a special Open Mic evening in celebration of Black History Month.

The event featured a powerful line-up of musical performances from members of the RHACC community, each inspired by the themes of Black history and British Values. Through song and live performance, learners shared stories, influences and reflections that honoured culture, heritage and identity.

The evening was both uplifting and thought-provoking – a celebration of music as a way to educate, connect and inspire. It provided a safe and welcoming space for performers and audience members alike to come together, listen, and reflect.
