Our department provides an up to date curriculum connected to the Mayor's Skills Strategy for London and focussed on careers for the future.   We have accredited professional courses including Accounting, Business and Management, Computing, Counselling, Early Years, Adult Care, Teaching and Training. Accounting and Finance is critical to each business and in balancing and contributing to the economy. Our accounts and finance courses have industry standard curriculums, where learners can start as beginners to do bookkeeping and accounts and then continue to study with us up to chartered accountant status. We offer Bookkeeping and Sage short courses through AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) also we run the main AAT qualification as well which covers Foundation Certificate in Accounting (AAT Level 2), Advanced Certificate in Accounting (AALT Level 3) and Professional Certificate in Accounting (AAT Level 4), the whole qualification is equivalent to the first year of degree.

We also offer ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) qualifications and a range of accountancy, tax and finance training courses for learners to develop skills to support employability, self-employment, professional skills and personal financial management.

Access courses are designed to enable people aged 19+ to gain a qualification which is accepted by prestigious universities as an alternative to A Levels. Access courses are delivered over only 7-9 months and are ideal for anyone who left school without formal qualifications, or for people who wish to change career over an intensive period. We provide routes to higher education in Computing, Business Studies and Digital Marketing & Social Media.

If you are interested in finding out more about working with the elderly in either care homes or in domiciliary care (in their own homes) you can attend one of our Introduction courses. We have weekend, residential courses at our Hillcroft campus and six weeks Introduction to Adult Care courses at both our sites.   When you have decided a career in Adult Care is the right choice for you, start on the qualification pathway at Level 1 and progress to Level 2. Once you complete your level 2 and get a job as an Adult Care worker you can build on your skills and knowledge by attending regular workshops at the college that will support your professional development and prepare you academically for the level 3 Diploma in Adult Care.

We provide a broad range of one-day courses, short courses and networking events. As business moves increasingly online, we provide courses that can take a business into e-business.

A co-ordinated offer of Management, Mentoring, Coaching and Leadership courses for team leaders, line managers and business leaders. Certificated courses are offered in collaboration with the Chartered Management Institute. Gaining a qualification with CMI will enhance your performance as a manager, raise confidence levels and boost career prospects. Course are offered from level 2 to level 5 in a flexible format so you can study while working.

Our courses are designed to ensure you are well-prepared for today’s modern office. Our provision provides both training for employment in these areas and upskilling for busy professionals who wish to advance further. Courses such as Business Administration and Office Skills develop sought after soft skills as well as those with office technologies. Courses such as the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) suite and Advanced Excel are appropriate for anyone looking to upskill in their current job.

These courses provide the first steps into IT. For some people these first steps will be on PCs, and for some it will be on Apple Macs or tablets such as iPads. After these first steps learners can develop skills such as social networking, using online sources such as Skype and buying online. Confidence can then be developed in using business and creative software applications.

If you are interested in finding out more about a career as a Counsellor you can attend one of our Introductory days. Once you have decided that you would like to train to become a Counsellor you will start at level 2 and progress through Level 4 to Level 5 Diploma. You can also choose to do the level 2 if you want to gain counselling skills that you can use in your current job.  The level 2 and Level 3 course are each 18 weeks long. The Level 4 Diploma is a two year course followed by one term of Level 5 Diploma. The Diploma levels include being in placement, personal therapy and supervision.

If you are interested in finding out more about working with young children under the age of six in nurseries or preschools you can attend one of our Introduction courses. We have weekend, residential courses at our Hillcroft campus and six weeks Introduction to Childcare courses at both our sites.  When you have decided a career in Early Years is the right choice for you, start on the qualification pathway at Level 1 and progress to Level 2 Certificate.   Once you complete your level 2 and get a job in a nursery or pre-school you can build on your skills and knowledge by attending regular workshops at the college that will support your professional development and prepare you academically for the level 3 Diploma Early Years Educator. 

RHACC’s accredited CISCO Academy offers recognised vendor qualifications in dedicated IT suites. Our provision matches industry requirements with pathways into Hardware and Networking. Our courses include vendor based IT training to develop skills for the digital economy and include Cisco IT Essentials, CCENT, CCNA and CCNA Security which are mapped to career destinations. We also offer short courses and tasters in developing technologies such as The Internet of Things.

The world of PR and marketing is constantly evolving, stay up-to-date with the latest developments. We have a range of courses which combine traditional theory with practical skills for digital marketing.

If you are interested in finding out more about working in a classroom supporting a teacher you can attend one of our Introduction courses. We have weekend, residential courses at our Hillcroft campus and six weeks Introduction to Support Teaching courses at both our sites.  When you have decided on a career as a Teaching Assistant is the right choice for you, start on the qualification pathway at Level 1 and progress to Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning.   Once you complete your level 2 and get a job in a school you can build on your skills and knowledge by attending regular workshops at the college that will support your professional development and prepare you academically for the level 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning.  

If you are a subject expert and would like to teach adults, you can do the one term, level 3 Education & Training course. This will give you the knowledge required to start teaching in an adult learning environment and is the qualification required by colleges and further education establishments.
Once you have started teaching or are an experienced tutor you may like to progress to the nationally recognised Assessor training which gives you the skills and knowledge to assess students undertaking qualifications, including observations in a real work environment.
After you have been assessing for a while you can progress to Internal Quality Assurance and take the qualification that is nationally recognised for staff who Verify a qualification area.
